Thats an easy one DC4,

Turkey if it really does want to join the UE must recognise ALL other EU states of which the ROC is one and therefore It should recognize the Republic of Cyprus, open its ports and airports to Cypriot vessels and planes to allow ease of movement and trade.

It is part of the big picture.

TC has already offered to openits eep water port to ROC and the airport if agreed would of course be the Nicosia one under Nata control. The port is the real issue as the ROC actaully want this handed over to them rather than access to it and tis would be like giving away the family jewels without a balanced quid pro quo basis.
