Does anyone know if you can put a cat flap into a double glazed patio door, the doors are already fitted. We don't mind if the door has to be removed to fit it. Can anyone suggest a glazier who would fit it for us. .

Can you not fit the cat flap through the wall ? Quite an easy job with the right tools, lot of hassle with double glazing.

Hi,if your door has a mid rail then you can put a plastic panel in the bottom half.It is so much more easier to do this.If the door is full height glass then it will be toughened glass so it wont be able to be done.Holes are cut in glass before they are taken to a factory to be toughened.Hope this helps

Thank you all for your advice we have no mid rail so we have 3 options: wall, front door, or new patio door.
