| The closer I 'get to finally seeing my apartment become reality, the more overwhelmed I become by all I need to do, and all I've forgotten... Insurance (yup, that was a biggie and I'm sorting it thanks to you guys), light bulbs, hairdryer, wastepaper baskets, loo-roll, towels, loo-roll holders (!) etc etc, clothes hangers.... The list is endless. Does anyone have a 'dumb' guide to prepping your apartment for rental? Seriously! Y |

| Yvonne - indeed, the list is endless. I found it difficult enough trying to remember all the things we needed for our apartment for our own use, let alone renting it out. I think that until you start putting things in, and you get to one of those "sod it, forgotten that" moments, you have to do what you can. I'm sure it would be impossible to remember every little thing. (Unless, of course, you are one of those super-organised folk, which I am not). Good luck and best wishes. | Thanks Jean. Just as I was about to nod off the other night, hangers popped into my mind out of nowhere! So need to get some I guess. It's exhausting, but I guess the good thing is when I get out there in Sept for my 2 week getaway, the place will be pretty much ready to step into. Exciting, but overwhelming! Y x |

| Thanks Spider. I'm sure we'll all put faces to names and I look forward to meeting all you great folk when I'm out there. Flights booked now: 17 Sept to 5 Oct - am so excited you wouldn't believe it! An electric blanket will now be on my shopping list - would never have thought of it, thank you. Y |
