Hi i want to get satellite tv in my house, my familly would like to watch the soaps ect, i have heard of a few systems like digi turk, hot bird, nile sat ect

can anyone shed any light on the costings and location of the shop/s ect?



I have also been offered dreambox by a company called "digital Supreme" has anyone dealt with them and does any one have the system?



Any coments/ help would be greatly appreciatted,

I am hearing that someone we all know and love has been banned for criticizing one of the available companies for Satellite. I thought the original string asked for advice not for censorship. I have read a few different strings today so it might not have been this one that I saw the comment however I believe it was and I can see that it has also been deleted if i am correct. Of course I realise that writing this could get me banned and deleted as well but I joined this forum for advice from the residents of TRNC and if that is going to be censored for personal advantages then it isn't really what I was hoping for.

As my wife says when she is trying to cheer me up , Length has nothing to do with it.

At least when you check multi M's profile you can see he has affiliations with TV systems but to be banned for giving advice when that is exactly what was asked is in my opinion just malicious. He has been attacked on so many subjects and always shows tact when answering, might not be what people want to hear including myself but it is the best and most honest answers he can produce with backing.

I will openly admit that I am very strong willed and obtusely strong minded but if I meet my match I will back down, I believe he is the same but it is easier to just close him out than continue the dispute.

In that respect I am quite pleased with myself that I got to 90 odd posts before I wrote something negative about this forum, I am sure it was created to help people and not to mislead them
