Does anyone know of any good riding stables. We are buying near Tatlisu, but I dont mind travelling.

There's a couple of people who ride around Esentepe on a horse. Not sure how many they've got or if they offer riding lessons/hire out of horses but you could enquire.

Thanks for the phone number Ercan. I shall contact them when I next go over for a holiday. Since you told me where they were based I've found their website, and its got all the info. I cant think of a more beautiful place to spend a few hours on horse back, although I'm sure i will pay for it the following day !

Hi Fiona,

as Karen says there is someone who has got a few lovely horses in Esentepe, it is not a riding school as such but he is very obliging and has all the gear, if you pop into the Esentepe villa hotel they will give you some information I am sure, he is called Benali and he is a policeman

Thanks for the info, I will certainly make enquiries. That is very kind and obliging of him if he lets people take his horses out. Just another example of the exceptional kindness of the local people.
