Read a news item about the spa - anyone been yet? Is it as lovely as it sounds?! "The 2.97m euro (US$3.9m, £2m) spa is privately owned by two British expats – Gill Ford and Steve Wiggins – and will use ESPA products. Covering 26,900sq ft (2,500sq m), the spa has six treatment rooms, a tea lounge, a swimming pool with back massage jets, a whirlpool and an amethyst crystal steamroom. Signature treatments will include a Chakra Balancing with Hot Stones and a Vaha Grounding Foot Ritual. "

I have been to the spa many times and can highly rate everything about it! Such a fantastic setting. Swimming pool is great they do not use chlorine but instead use PoolSan, natural minerals to clean the pool. Im sure if you Google the Vaha your find thier website.

I took the tour online,, hate to be a soothsayer, but a little too rich for my taste, massages at 55 quid and hour, and 20 quid for a nail clip, thats beverly hills prices. Its great that we have somehting of this caliber in TRNC, hope they can stick it out and i wish them the best of luck. turbo

No, I'm not in the pool or beauty business, I just love to relax and be pampered! And, I'm afraid, £55 isn't Beverley Hills prices at all, pretty standard for the UK although I do appreciate pricey for N Cyprus. But then, I plan my holidays around good spas, which is why I was so interested. Thanks, Anthony, I can add it to my must visit list now!

I've not been to the spa itself, but I have been to their restaurant a few times and I can honestly say that it is by far the best food on the island. Just amazing. If the spa is as good as the food, then it's a wonderful place to be pampered.

Better half went for a massage treatment type thing - lost on me!!! She was very impressed especially as lunch was thrown in, which she described as excellent. Her view of prices are they are UK standard and certainly not OTT when comparing like for like elswhere here. I had a look around and was impressed with facilities and setting and if you prefer a more select, quiet environment for your treatment and exercise then this is it. I understand they have now started yoga sessions if anyone is interested. David
