This one keeps popping up from time to time.I heard a rumour that some of the marina births have been reserved, but no concrete evidence as to when the development will take place,if it ever will.

Check with The Little Villa Company. They used to advertise as being the sole Agent.

Ive just recently returned from Northern Cyprus and can concur with Billybob and Catwomen,

Ive heard the same things myself from a very reliable source, also a piont to note that most of the funding is still in place, most of the planned berths already reserved, wherevever they may be !.

However Im sure we are a few years away yet from anything that may resemble a fully functional marina

Kind Regards Pan

There seems to be alot of "very reliable sources" in the TRNC at the moment.

Hi Mcsteveit

Like I said I concur with Cat women and Billybob, they are both right, this is the curent siutation, however we all know that anything can happen/change in the TRNC and normally it does !.

Not sure if this topic has been put to bed, but I was driving that way a week ago, and although there is no sign of anything going on in the marina itself, the old coast road running past it has been tarmaced and some of the other land around there looks to have been cleared, so something is going on. Barbaros at the Eagles Nest said the authorities (no pun intended) are still looking into the 'antiquities issue'.

off topic slightly but still concerning a marina - the one up the Karpaz is fairly getting on well they are working very hard on it, it is halfway between Bogaz and Dipkarpaz

The 12 million pound mariana at Kucuk Erenkoy has now been given the go ahead, work 'should' start early 2009..

Fingers crossed

As you travel east past the golf course you will see a sign on the left side of the road moules restaurant turn left. The marina will be built in the bay straight in front of you.The show villa is on the left about 50 mtrs down the road. You cant miss it very nice build and design. The elevated site for villas now under construction are on the hill side.
