just a thought that ocurred to me , but with 5000 odd members , with i dont know how many singles but must be 1000+ atleast ,, makes a great recipe to have a trnc personals section alongside forums , events , news , blogs , etc , no such thing exists that i know about here , other than people using perhaps facebook and other non trnc sites with trnc searches ! anyways just a thought, as im sure many singles would use it or atlkeast browse it , it will increase traffic to the site , increae members , and if only 2 people met and married it would have all been worth it

Hiya again Tommy I have put at least 10 couples togeher through the restaurant and introduced several people who have become friends. Theydid try to start one here but only women signed up. Now that is sad. There is a need if you ae thinking about it please take into account the ages here. Widows Widoers and many young people who I know go south side to meet people. I agree with you it will increase a target audince bu i think many will be afraid of the unknown. I have introduced one lovely couple who ae going to marry this year xxxxxx

How about couples that find it difficult to meet people and would like to make friends with other couples - no naughty suggestions please!! I am not making improper proposals!!

We are in our sixties and although I have lots of friends here in the UK, I have known them for many years but do wonder how we will get on over there. Being a woman perhaps I value friendship more than hubby does, I don't know.

We have eaten at your restaurant Lilli perhaps you can arrange something - don't ask me what though - I am perhaps thinking too far ahead as we don't move over till next year and things will 'happen' of their own accord - hopefully!!

Just a sec. There was an MSN Singles group once, what happened to it? I think the moderator of that group is a member of this forum too. So perhaps he will fill us in on that.

Yes there was Ismet, but there was never any action on it when I was a member!

There was also a singles dining group, but they ceased to meet last year when there was a surplus of ladies and a shortage of guys!

Nige's forum has a matchmaking area, unfortunately the forum has been hacked and is down at the moment, but his new one has one, it's a locked site (You can only see if you join).

I've been having a peruse, and reciting as usual to Gerald, who simply will not put down his current work load, and replies with his usual "what are you looking at now woman" comment, stuck record again comes to mind.



Anyhow, I digress, upon the reading of the comment by Mrs astonhilbilly suggesting I believe the meeting of couples, Gerald perked up and burst out "if it's swapping they are on about, bloody good, I need a new socket set"



Gerald will be having cold toast in the morning, which as some of you will be aware from previous postings, he does not particularly enjoy.



With that I bid you all good evening, as I am off now for a glass of sherry. Gerald can pour his own.
