Hi there! I am thinking of importing a +25 year old -125cc scooter into the TRNC. Will I still be stung with a big bill ? as it will be classed as clasic and deemed small engine size (maybe)?? Any feed back appreciated Thanks

As far as i'm aware, motorbikes are taxed in the same way as vehicles.........even if it's a 50cc engine.

Any vehicle over 25 yrs old is not automatically accepted as a classic, this is decided by the Classic Society and verified by the antiquities dept, so once the vehicle is here and if not deemed a 'classic' you will have to export it off the island. My advice from personal experience is don't bother, it is too much hassle.
