Yep, sometimes things get a liitle neg, but been viewing this site for some time and like the banter. So thought aught to let you all know that the other sites have a real nasty bunch of morons who seem to thrive on trying, I stress trying, to upset folks for their own feeble minds, sooooo, Im joining in with folks with minds.

I think it's part of the UK culture to whinge. I have only just moved here and only just joined the site. My wife and I love it here !! Been coming over for about 6 years and decided to buy two years ago. We even recieved our house nearly on time there are problems here but where can you go and have no problems ??

The weather is great; food fantastic; prices still very keen, compared to many locations. You're right too about the people that post on this web site. Overall they make valid comments and try to be helpful and have a sense of humour. I don't always agree of coure with what they say but then I suppose i'm talking rubbish )

Thanks for all the welcomes folks, ----- on the problems that some of you have, they are no worse than any where else,its just that it seems all in n.c, but can assure you that probs are just as bad in good old G.B just they dont make headline news for our papers, that is, propety issues of course. If you are an MP, then you can have as many houses as you like off the tax payer and nobody calls that stealing do they, yep, they just help themselves to all sorts of goodies and then just say sorry!

I agree - with us Brits whinging seems to be our National pastime. What would be talk about if it wasn't moaning about the weather, taxation, immigration, etc. etc.

Thanks smithy, just like to keep an 'eye' on any relative info.

It is interesting reading what folks think the Orams should have done or should do, ------ if folks have a business with assets or companys etc etc, if they have property in N.C. things that could help.

Any one met the Orams? we have, and you could not wish for a couple of nicer, sweeter, endearing couple.

Makes these nasty ones from the south (forums) seem like things made up of several different species, ie, head of the devil, body of a snake etc, medusa possibly. Still thats me getting fed up with the snivelling other lot.

Also thought that it would not be in that solicitors best interest or the gc to actually go over to the north, or am I now being the negative one?
