Cyprus Today have announced that with effect from the 27th May they will be publishing an extra edition on Wednesdays which will include news & sports oh & advertisements.

Christ!!, I get depressed reading it once weekly, If I have to read it twice weekly I think i will get suicidal, and for those of you that say " you dont have to buy it", I have to wipe my a--e on something! as my finger keeps poking through the local stuff.

I think that's Cyprus Star you're on about Fire Starter. Cyprus Today is a bloody good read. Cyprus Mail isn't bad either, although a bit biased towards the Greek Cypriot side, in my humble opinion. The rest you can keep.

At 2ytl, the Cyprus Times is a rip off. Read the front page story and then find it triplicated inside! Flight times, Ads and the ramblings of some old geezer and thats it finished! same stuff every day.

Cyprus Mail online ok but mainly GC news. Article today Cyprus government has closed down a Nicosia car park being illegally-operated on TC owned land and is "slowly regaining control over similar properties." The Guardian of TC Properties is pushing ahead so as to be in a position to hand back TC owned land to its rightful owner in anticipation of a possible settlement. The Guardian administers the properties, leasing or renting them out and hold the proceeds in a TC Property Fund for eventual payment to the property owners.

In exceptional cases beneficial to the public the law allows acquisiton of TC land for public purposes such as roads and airports.
