| NICOSIA (AFP) — Turkey plans to supply drinking water to northern Cyprus via a pipeline running 110 kilometres (70 miles) between its coast and the Mediterranean island, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday.

| Good luck to the guy thats doing it. it would attract some much needed "positive" publicity for the TRNC.Plus may kick start the property market in that area. |

| Reality check here.
There has been lots of positive "hot air" came from the TRNC over the years from direct flights to plans to make the TRNC the shopping hub of the eastern med. |
