I always vow not to watch Eurovision as it's now completely ludicrous, but they've changed the voting system, and it's always good for a laugh, seeing what our EU cousins consider is music and entertainment.



Have you heard the U.K.'s entry? She is very good, but a bit too normal I fear, there are no drums, scarecrows, vikings, village idiots pretending to play the harp, semi naked girls, or shouts of 'Hay' every 20 seconds, so obviously she doesn't stand a chance!



And, poor old Cyprus didn't even make the heats......no douze points for them from Greece this year then.

It's all a fiddle. I don't know why the UK bothers to send anyone to compete. All the usual suspects vote for each other. A complete bore!!

This year's song, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and sung by his and the public's

choice of singer, is equal 4th to win in the betting. The voting rules have been changed after

last year's disgraceful fiasco (isn't it always lately?) when the Russian satellite countries

all voted for mother Russia. I will probably watch it in hope that it might have improved

(when I get back from singing with my choir at the Stirling Mod!)

Isn't Russia mostly in Asia anyway?

jacj thank god they did. We dont get to se it so I dont know what goes on. They must be so happy but still they gave us riverdance. I just adore Mr Flattely. He gets me dancing every time and I even remember all I was taught in my Irish dancing skills. My customers love me to play riverdance so they get me to dance xxxxxxxxx
