does anyone know where i can do book swapping. Used to go up to the hideaway and swap bools, not sure if they still do this

How about going to a few hotels, I find they are quite good if you leave the same number of books that you took.

Go to the Red Lion, in alsancak, on the Deniz Kizi Hotel road, second building on the right. We regulars bring our books in and leave them on the window ledge. Just bring books along and swap one for one.

Hi

We have a pub in England and we have an area for all customers to bring their books and anybody can then take them but they have to put a donation (doesn't matter how much) in a charity box and so for we have raised £2673 in 2 years. Might be a good idea if some kind establishment did it for SOS village. It benefits all.

I usually take my books to the kyrenia dog rescue shop or to the market on a friday at pegasus in karalanou. After I have read them I take them back and buy new ones. So I am helping a good cause and getting books for about 3 tl each. Every little bit helps for the animal rescue.

Believe there is a Book shop in Ozankoy and when you take one back you get a reduction on the next one you buy. It was on the forum the other night about it.

Libby in Ozankoy's Five fingers restaurant has a good range of second hand books in her bookshop, She also has a fantastic range of new books on Cyprus and the Cyprus issue . I bought a lovely on on Ataturk not long ago.
