I am holidaying in Bellapais in June. We arrive late Saturday night and as we have young children with us, were wondering if there are any shops in Bellapais that supply local provisions, such as bread, milk etc to keep us going until we can get to a supermarket?

Are the supermarkets open on Sundays?

Thanks

Rita

Ask for a welcome pack of basic provisions to be left at your accommodation or ask your taxi courier to pop into a garage or shop as you are passing. Takeaway places also open on route.

City or Rovers ?

There is a basic grocery shop in the village of bellapais itself however if you end up at the bottome of the mountain you could get to Lemar supermarket easily enough.

cypruschill makes a good suggestion of getting a welcome pack but try and dictate what you need in the welcome pack as some can be very basic.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I'll definitely enquire about a welcome pack.

Thanks

P.S. CyprusChill - neither sorry. I'm originally from Manchester, so would have to say my heart lies with the mighty Reds!
