I see a lot of posts about dongles, g3 and various providers, but not a lot about sunny cyprus and their wireless connection is there a problem with the wireless?

Generally I've found the Sunny Cyprus wireless service pretty good but like most or all of these wireless services its not 100% reliable all the time. There customer service is very good as well in fixing problems, billings etc.

Thanks Aussie, seems they might be worth a go. at least I didn't attract a load of negative responses so they can't be too bad!

Hi Halffull

Have been with SunnyCyprus for nearly 5 years now - and OK, we have had a few problems during that time, but nothing Terry Thomas and his team didn't resolve quickly.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them to you. But I would recommend you have a survey done first to test your signal strength if going to go wireless with any provider, SC or 3G.

After 4 years of trying all Internet Providers in the TRNC we finally got it sorted with Nethouse.

It all depends on where you live and the distance to your service providers base station. The closer you are the better the reception, the less likelyhood of problems. It is worth just asking them where their nearest one is in relation to you and if you can get a clear line of site to their base station, as any obsticles in the way or their receiver antenna not being high enough will cause you connection problems.
