The much awaited British Soap awards were attended this year by Direct Traveller. The leading tour operator to North Cyprus mingled with the stars at this high profile event. As the official sponsors of the British Soap awards, the Direct Traveller management team were invited as guests to the event and after party.



The awards which were held in London BBC studios were attended by all the major British Soap stars such as the casts for EastEnders, Hollyoaks, Coronation Street , Emmerdale and Doctors.



The event is seen as one of the most prestigious awards ceremonies for British television. Awards were given for best Soap, which was won by EastEnders.

Also Barbara Windsor, who plays as Peggy Mitchell since 1994, won a lifetime achievement award for her role in EastEnders.

Have used you many times you are a great company the best travel agent North Cyprus has ever had so i dont know why you would want to be associated with the British soap awards the biggest load of old tosh there has ever been

A bit of positive high profile publicity is what North Cyprus needs.



Was North Cyprus mentioned or featured in the televised award ceremony? Or was it that the brochure was put in the pack?



In anycase, a positive and worth the effort. It would be excellent if some of the stars actually decided to book a holiday too!
