| Would anyone on here be able to help me.I need to fit air con units in our apartment but not sure on the b.t.u. side of things.What square meterage would a 9 b.t.u. unit cover and what would a 24 b.t.u. unit cover.Would really appreciate your help on this, Paul. |

| Paul, 9000 BTU up to 12m2 12000 BTU up to 18m2 18000 BTU up to 25m2 24000 BTU around 30-35m2 As well as the room size, you also need to take into account the amount of glass there is, and whether the room is south/north etc facing, and make adjustments. |

| Hi dodger with the heat here you need to mesure the room times length by width then times it by 200 then times it by 3.142 this will give you the nerest btu 6000x6000x200x3.142=22000 btu you will have to go up to 24000btu hope this helps if stuck send me sizes of rooms i will work them out for you 05428853211 |

| Hi dodger Using the figures in msg 2 I would recommend that when you identify which size you need you then chose the next size up The cost increase would not be that much more but the larger unit will cool a room easier There are also different coolants used some of which are far more efficient and therefore use less electricity making them cheaper to run I dont know the coolant type you should go for but I am sure someone will read this and post the info for you Bill |
