does this 1 ytl per sq m apply to complexes that do not have parcelised deeds as yet? As i'm sure our property tax that has just come in works out more than that!

Up to now that is what the property tax was based on 1ytl a square metre , this info was on the home buyers pressure group website , and good news it looks like it is still based on that according to jardap !!!!

We also paid this amount 1tl for 105sqm. We paid at the Belediye near the Wednesday market. Very easy to do. You need your contract or Kocan.

It is payable in 2 instalments. 1st instalment due before 30/04/09 & 2nd installment before 30/09/09.

Why pay your property tax all in one go?

Check out the HBPG link above. 25% extra for a pool.

200 sq metres covered area = 200 TL. Pool =50 TL

150 sq meters covered area = 150 TL. Pool = 37.50 TL

etc.

What would the council tax?/property tax? cost on LAND (1 3/4 donums) be that was purchased in July 2006?

Is the transfer tax still at 0.75% of the value, still in force until the end of June? Will it then revert back to 3%?

thanks
