I just wondered, is everybody happy where they are or if they had a chance would they like to set the time back and how many years? I think my whole life has been a joy and I am quite happy where I am. I bet we will get some funny answers. ismet

I'd like to be in my late 20's early 30's again, when my children were young. Was working so hard I seem to have missed them growing up in their early years.

Thinking back in time made me remember this joke: A noted psychiatrist was a guest at a blonde gathering, and his hostess naturally broached the subject in which the doctor was most at ease. "Would you mind telling me, Doctor," she asked, "how you detect a mental deficiency in somebody who appears completely normal?" "Nothing is easier," he replied. "You ask him a simple question which everyone should answer with no trouble. If he hesitates, that puts you on the track." "What sort of question?" "Well, you might ask him, 'Captain Cook made three trips around the world and died during one of them. Which one?' The blonde thought a moment, then said with a nervous laugh, "You wouldn't happen to have another example would you? I must confess I don't know much about history.."

Would like to go back 16 years and relive the magic of having 4 grandchildren being born, they have brought so much to my life, I dread the thought of leaving them behind and that is why my decision is to stay here in the UK.

I would not like to go back to my childhood and go through the awful things that happened, even though there were happy, good times too. Neither would I go back to my 30's and experience losing my husband and the hard times bringing up 4 in the middle of a degree and trying to find secure work. There are times in the 80's I would like to have again but then the memories are sweet. Now is as good a time as any. I have a balanced life, family close, many interests, friends, not suffering, and and, AND, a bolthole in beautiful N.Cyprus to visit and invite family, friends.

No.1. I really did have to think about that one, but perhaps it has been a long day eh? Your posts really make me chuckle, even though this one did take some time for the penny to drop.

If I could go back in time, I would go to the set of 'Back to the Future' in a DeLorean and tell Michael J. Fox that he has Parkinson's. Obnoxious little twonk. Lem
