Shame at Kyrenia Tourism Marina

15.05.2009

There were embarrassing moments at Kyrenia Tourism Marina on Monday 11 May. Despite the tourists enjoying the beautiful and quiet peace of the marina, 3 municipality sewage vacuum trucks came to the marina in the afternoon and started to empty the cesspools of the restaurants. Tourists left the marina because of the bad smell and loud noise. It is a matter of curiosity why the municipality sent the vacuum trucks in the afternoon instead of the early or late hours. One could see the anger in the faces of restaurant managers.

Tootie - I have no idea, but words (yet again in TRNC) fail me.

Tootie - unfortunately, it seems they are and I, personally, don't see things changing.

Unfortunately!
