The farmers will be happy! But what have the authorities got place to capture the water? Nothing, too busy trying to work out where the wiper switch is on their brand new BMW!

Even if it doesn't fill the reservoirs and wells, its washes the dust off and keeps things green. I can live with this.

I do not think you have the moral, legal, physical authority to tell me what to do, say or write! Does a uniform give you judgemental superiority?

Not heard from Jock1 on here telling us about the rain.

In my little part of the UK we have had a lovely sunny afternoon and now a lovely evening.

Brinsley - my word - you're issuing invitations left, right and and centre to 'meeting up' lately.

Anyone taken you up on this yet?

No, didn't think so.

Richard..You dont give people the impression that you would like to have "a few friendly beers". Could your interior be a little softer than your exterior,or is what you are projecting really a facade..I will reserve my judgement until later on..

Well as it's a Bank Holiday Weekend you'd expect the UK to have damp, dismal weather.....BUT according to the weathermen it's going to hotter than Spain this weekend!!!!

Well - it's been a lovely day here again in Bury St Edmunds. Bright, but windy. HOWEVER (wait for it) they are threatening temperatures by the end of next week to reach the mid to high 20's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That'll be our 2 days of summer again, then.
