Its because of hotmail has a high security system for other mails, you need to send your mails to hotmail recipients through an hotmail adress to overcome this problem.

RE msg 3, Cherry > Its because of hotmail has a high security system for other mails, you need to send your mails to hotmail recipients through an hotmail adress to overcome this problem. <

You're right and I think it's ridiculous. But it's not only Hotmail - it's AOL, Yahoo, MSN, BTinternet and what free mail providers have you, where "they" decide about the mail you're allowed to read. I think it's basically wrong to have a policeman in front of your cyber door. Obvious spam should and can be intercepted, but it's going too far nowadays.

That's why I suggest you try a Gmail address (yourname@gmail.com ). It's free and by far the best webmail available. Lots of extra's! PLUS "they" at Gmail let *you* decide what you want to read. Suspected emails (spam?) are put in a separate mailbox so *you* can check whether you want to read it or not. Read it or delete it.

You'll find all about Gmail here : http://www.google.com (click Gmail, top left, to continue).

I have been using g.mail for some time and I am very happy with it. What I like most is that it allows me to download my messages to my inbox folders. It works perfectly with message rules of Outlook Express.
