Two gallons of Efes should be enough to blackout anyone!

Just trying to bring a little sense of humour to threads which others have replied too in an informative manner. Why does this bother you? No level of jest? My posts are nearly all rhetorical!

Hi all,

I had a quote last year for 3 black out roller blinds as all my bedrooms face east, cost 450ytl. Bought blackout curtains in England for £30. for the three windows. size 66" x 72" now yes they were in the sale but even so, at full price much much cheaper in the UK. Get some one to bring them over for you.

Ummmmmmmm, So do I simbas, but I don't like getting woken up by the sun at 4am in the morning and this is what happens if your bedrooms face east.

Stewart, re: message 12.

I think you mean that Fiskos, is near Astro.

Anyway, I would advise against using them.

Please try a search of this forum by typing "Fiskos", then try one using the curtain shop.

Hi Sids

Got my first lot there from Mermaid..great service and reasonable price if you are already there. Brought the next lot with us, got them online from Amazon. Less than Half the price.

Just a note. If you are shutting the house up for more than a couple of weeks...only pull the curtains not the blackouts. Need the sunshine and warmth coming in to stop the damp!

Couldn't agree with you more Butlers Wife msg14.

For a quick, cheap, easy solution if you have curtains on a pole, do as we did, buy a plain dark coloured shower curtain (ours is blue) and just hook it behind the curtains. It doesn't make the room dark, but it certainly stops the killer rays at 4 in the morning.
