while driving round karsiyaka in april i came across a new resturant,it was sign posted all the way(cant remember the name)it was a big brand new property in the middle of all the villas with lawns and a fatastic view,i will be over in 2 weeks and would like info on it ,ie opening times ect.thanks

Cano's Green Palace is a great restaurant. It used to be in the middle of the village next to the shop and the menu is the same. Usual kebabs (sis, seftali, kofte, etc), chops, steak, scampi, fish and fantastic tandoori chicken. All served very simply with chips and salad. Meze starters if you want it. Prices range from about 15TL to 22TL for mains. 4TL for bottle of Efes and about 20TL for bottle of wine. Lovely people and well worth a visit.

It's so/so. There are worse and there are better. It hasn't improved with the move. It's not great, just average and convenient,

yes it is canos old restaurant from the village prices a little more than the old canos but its worth it i,n on wednesday night meal was beautifull

It`s always beautiful and it has not changed at all since the move. The only thing is we dont see so much of Omer as the kitchen is separate and he is always very busy, but he always manages to pop out and say hello.

It was always a favourite place and still is. It`s lost some of its`charm` in one way but has gained in many other ways. ie, you no longer need to go arse over tip to go to the loo anymore (especially when you`d had a few) they now have super loos. Oulton 17 please give it a try, I`m sure you wont be disappointed. Mrs.W.

It is true that service plays a very important role in the running of a restaurant. Personnally, i really agree that restaurant should try it's best to offer customer prompt and convinient service. Customer usually become impatient when they can't get timely service, and they have to cry out loudly or keep waving hands, restaurant calling system can help to solve this problem, it includs buttons that placed on tables, and display sreen carried by waiters, when customers need service he just need to press buttons and then waiters will receive it. The restaurant is well signposted if you go up to Karsiyaka by turning left at the square on the main road. Don't know what time they close but like most restaurants here, I wouldn't expect to turn up much later than say 9.30 or at a push 10pm. I suppose it depends on how many customers they have.

Not open at lunch time it is from 7 p.,. last serving about 10.15 p.m. Go to the top of the road saying Karsiyaka (opposite the square) turn right at Tjunction and just follow the signs.

Jobstogo the staff are there until quite late and I am sure there will be no problem about serving you up until about 10.30.

Tolga's is good (in my opinion). Laid back, not a menu as such but he does fresh fish, lamb chops, chicken sis and often cooks kleftico. They do a BBQ every other Sunday, quiz night on Tuesday which is popular and karaoke on Saturday night.

They have a kareoke and curry night every thursday night too - but if you saw the signs you probably saw that advertised.



I would recommend the restaurant - nice food - good service - good laugh!

We back on to the Green Palace. Did the person who murdered Sonny and Cher's "I Got You Babe" last week sound the death knell for the karaoke? Food good, service is so-so as the transition from village kebab shop to large Restaurant seems to have found them out a bit, but view of sunset over the sea is to die for!!!!!!!

I think it's a great little restaurant , i went to the old one , which had a lot of charm but the new location is brill. The service i got was very good , and i went twice last week . The service was also good but the view ..........bootiful !!
