So what, another winging foreigner in the premiership - who cares !

Long live the british players and british managers !

How can you follow a team with a foreign manager with only 2 british players at the most playing at any time !

You might as well follow BARCELONA ! E.........................AGLES.

Come on Stan, as you may remember there was a lot of dodgy dealing which lead to Arsenal getting into the first division at the end of WW1. You still haven't apologised for "Mr Brown Envelope" George Graham.

Assuming Hull squeak through this season, I wouldn't give a spit for their chances in 09/10 season.........

Just a little footnote for all you " we must have more english players " brigade. Last night The Arsenal youth team demolished liverpool 4-1 In the Youth Cup Final 1st leg at The Emirates , in front of a 34,000 crowd. !!. And guess what ?? In the line up were NINE ENGLISH players !!!!! All playing for The Arsenal. !! So you see all you " play english " moaners take note . We do play english kids if they are good enough ! .This year The Arsenal are unindated with home grown English players who have come through The Arsenal system . They are all taught to play the same way from the under nines to the first team . The training schedule is the same , whatever the age group. Arsene Wenger has been quietly been building the Arsenal teams of the future Unfortunately , short sighted journalists haven't done their homework. Short of a story or two, they turn on the Arsenal manager . look who have red faces now !!

Re: message 5.

You mention Arsenal teaching ENGLISH kids from under nines, etc. How many "foreign" under nines (or even 10 -16) are there in training in England?

Not too many would be my answer.

Can you imagine an eight year old kid from Spain being spotted by an Arsenal scout and being brought over to be taught by Arsenal!

No one would want their team to field a mainly English team, if there were better foreign players available.

Players do not need to speak English, nor do some managers (Big Phil, Sir Alex, etc)!!!

If you ran a business, you would want the person who could perform the best for you, regardless of anything.

Anyway, well done to The Gooners Ladies. I believe they are nearly all English.
