Stumble Inn is just at the end of the lapta strip on the same side as LA Hotel.

Friday Night Rock night at the tunnel in Girne is a fab night. If you like Bon Jovi U2 etc get along to this venue you will rock all night. The main band Funky Monkey is fantastic and the main singer is Johnny Hawkins amazing!!! It is free entry for Brits. Show starts around 11pm

I live in Lapta and regularly go to the Stumble. Its a really good night out, especially on a Friday. A lot of people tend to go there first (for the live music) and then down to Tunnel around midnight. Its certainly worth a visit and they also do other events on a weekend etc. There's even a 70's fancy dress party coming up at Easter, so get your flares on and get down there if you like a laugh!

Funny you say about the Tunnel, Anna and some others left the Stumble Inn after the show to go there, if its that good I'll join them next week! Are drinks expensive?

Drinks are more expensive but you get in free.

Directions: Road down to colony in Girne. On Right hand side look for Anibal Kebab house and tunnel is underneath.

Hi,

I am new to the forum. We coming out to our new apartment in Lapta on the 22nd March, so any advice about good pubs to visit and restaurants suitable for children would be much appreciated!

Billbob,

We have just spent a week in Lapta. There is a new bar at the corner of the turnoff to the Sempati, called JK's.

Depending on what sort of bar you like, this could be just up your street.

The Bar is great for Sport and has some Rock N Roll dancing on a Sunday night.

Nice people running it, Darren I think was his name.

Give it a go.
