On request of a substantial number of the regular guests to my lectures on medieval Cyprus history I have decided to set a new date for the reading "The Ottoman Conquest of Cyprus" (which was set for Friday May 29).



The reason for the request is "competition" of a concert in Bellapais and an official reception in Nicosia (High Commissioner?).



The new date for the reading "The Ottoman Conquest of Cyprus. 1570: Invasion. Siege and Fall of Nicosia" is now FRIDAY 12 JUNE, 2009.



Venue: Chateau Lambousa, Lapta. Start 8 pm, doors open 7.30 pm.
