hi everyone, coming to cyprus 14th june for a girlie holiday we're staying in catalkoy for 1 week and would like to know the best places to go for a good night out or a good 6 nights out! thanx.

Hey Loopyli...



I'm no expert - but I'm working on it!!

If you like live music, there is a bar in town, Barrigadi Bar, just behind the harbour and they have a live band (cover songs/rock - not heavy!) every Saturday night... Have seen them a few times and they are pretty good - don't start till 10:30ish goes on till 1am (ish)...



If you just want bars which have people in, Roxanne's (next to the Rocks Hotel) is also usually heaving on Saturday night - good atmosphere but drinks can be expensive...



Cream is another good night -but again - best at the weekends... If you can be bothered to go down to Lefkosia, a band called Funky Monkey play at Nostalgia on Friday nights or in Famagusta at 'The Road House' on Thursday nights... Occasionally you get someone organising a mini bus

If you want entertainment on a week night, you are destined for karaoke, karaoke or karaoke!! Often the best nights only get advertised the week before etc. so if I hear of any upcoming events - ... cont'

From what I hear from my gorgous young waiter there are plenty of night time activities for the young and beautiful. You have 5 mile Alsancak side ice Ebos to name a few also just opened Schboom which is lively. I agree with spanna thier is a lot of Karaoke which seems to be frequented by the golen oldies (to your generation) Savoy hotel are putting shows on with tribute bands and plenty planned for summer. You will have a ball anyway. I dont know if Nightpark is still open but thats a great venue. Have a great holiday xxxxxxxxxxxxx

guys you lot are well out of touch ... 26 year old lasses from bonnie scotland ... they want house /garage / R&B music , sexy young guys n gals , tables with bottles on it .... the north cyprus circuit is , Ice club , escape , malika , nightpark , mansion beach club , 5 mile , mosquito beach club , one normaly starts at roxannes or cream for pre drinks , then off to one of the above and then to one of the numerous after parties up in one of the villas on the kyrenia mountain side. correct me if im wrong girls

id of thought june was the start of the opening back up of the touristy clubs,but there is a club scene all the year round here,and quite good aswell if you know were ur going,u might need tommy gun to escort you in the right direction!!!

from middle of june , thousands of london TC's come to the island , many of them club promoters , dj's , music producers back in london , they start to dominate the scene , throwing many events in the above mentioned clubs... also promoters have started bringing some of the names , recently Tiesto and David Vendetta have played out here , and due again soon ,,,,

The trick here to get in anywhere ,anytime, without fail, is too simply reserve a table , you will have to pop a couple of bottles of Vodka and/or Champagne. If you do that severel times , the door security and staff will get to know who you are , Then u simply have to just show up anywhere , anytime for VIP treatment and swift entry ..same all round the world generally...

When I was a little girl (decades ago, obviously) I was always called Jeannie by my family. Paul has always called me Jeannie (amongst other things) and always in jobs I've had, certain people have called me Jeannie.



Now, in my new role, as Tara's Trusted Deputy, I felt that "Jeannie" had a more friendly ring to it - what do you think, Bill, lovey?

there are a few places to go and by the middle of june ice club should be open aswell as night parks summer club which are both very good...



And you are always welcome to come up to my pub for a "pre club" drink, we also have loads of restaurants of which some are very good and also reasonable in price but I would advise you to stay away from the harbour area and always enquire prices before eating.



drinks in the clubs are quite expensive e.g 25tl for a vodka redbull (10pounds) beer 10tl e.t.c
