| Ah! I remember the days when the stable, reliable £ was 4 Euro 82 (or 10 Guilders 60 cents) and the US Dollar was 1 Euro 64 or 3,60 Guilders)! And now we post messages about the £... = $ 1,60, a Pound Sterling that used to be worth US Dollar 2,94..., from day to day! |

| RE msg 5, No1Doyen > Remember the White fivers? < => Never seen one, Bill. I'm afraid they didn't circulate in Holland. In my pre-teen days, just after World War II, the money was black and only the sailing boats were white. |
