| Hi All,
My brother is over on holiday and wanted to hire a car for the day on Monday but it would appear that all the car hire companies have a 3 day minimum...
Anyone know anything different...? Is there anywhere that will do a 1 day rental?

| My husband was there last year and he walked from the Pia Bella to Green Car Hire in Lapta stopping in at every car hire firm in between looking for a 2 day rental. He was there in person with cash and they all said minimum 3 days! They preferred to have their cars sitting there doing nothing! Greens did 2 days after a lot of discussion! So I don't think you've got much chance of a 1 day hire!! Please tell us if you find one, they may have learnt that 1 or 2 days is better that no days - but that kind of logic is not widespread in TRNC. |

| I got an old Corsa for 2 days a couple of years ago. £20 a day but did what I wanted.
Nicosia Road right hand side after the roundabout. |

| The local car hire firms are desperate for customers, so i presume they would hire out for a day. It's better than nothing.
Believe me, you could probably rent a car out by the hour if you asked nicely |

| As far as I know the 3 days is down to the insurnace companies who won't insure you for less |
