were out in august,and like to know the local bars within walking distance from the rose garden hotel,were just up the road from there,and will need our thirst quenching...

Ibos bar on the main road not far from Rose Garden. Also Jafikas. Or jump on the dolmus and come down to JK's bar in Lapta + loads of bars on the LA strip.

from rose gardens just walk up from lapta to alsancak and visit almond village hotel .

good pool side bar ,nice food and allways good company at the bar

The Rose Gardens is a good place for a drink or two, but as Sue says, The Hut is just down the road on the coast and a lovely setting. You can also walk up the road from Rose Gardens and visit Teo's Restuarant/Bar, which ever, you will probably find yourself having a night cap in Rose Gardens!!

also very nice in an afternoon is hillside at lapta just down the dip as you go from alsancak to lapta on the left, just before the hut.

Hi Guys,

The rose garden has excellent food and now has live music and DJ on Tuesday nights from 8pm give it a try.

Drinks very good prices.

5 tl for an Effes? when all other 'bars' in the area charge between 3 and 4.5. And 35 for a decidedly average mezze.

I really like the Hillside- 2 very friendly couples are running it now and its child friendly as well. Not expensive to eat and good quality.

I agree Teo's is expensive,just wish he would listen to his regulars and lower his prices he would have loads of customers,it's a lovely setting.Everytime we go past ,not a customer in sight!!!!

well i liked teo's restaurant the best . its in such a nice place away from the traffic and nice and quite . they make fantastic food like fish , doner , chicken , lamb , liver and lots more ... i enjoyed it very much and the bill was not that much either ... i advise people to go there when they visit northen cyprus because i enjoyed it very much ...

I really think you have a lot of choice. There is so many to choose from. I love the waterfront. Ruth Tony and Amy are the nicest people. Im told that Jessics etc are real favs with the brits here. Now the Cabin and a pool bar to open soon. You will be spoilt for choice. Enjoy which ever you favour xxxx
