Forget it.

An employer has to be committed to you to acquire you a work permit which are not gained easily.

Developers think they are experts at 'strategy' and will not take advice, they consider themselves expert at marketing, which in the main they are, no matter the target market.

Now look at the often pathetic translations on developers and agents websites and you will see what I mean. They can't even be bothered to translate into the idiom of any language, just changing the words from English into Russian or whatever.

Yes there are some professional linguists at work but very few, because they are not cheap. Developers/agents prefer to either employ a friend of a friend from Russia who speaks broken English and can roughly understand the text. Or they employ young (cheap) girls from FSU countries who have high school 'qualifications' in English and are not professional. HTH

I would advice you to send a friend to the companies you find of interest and see if there are any vacancies. Work permit can be done many people have it but due to the current state of the market not many people are hiring at the moment.

Good Luck

Hi Siggyyyy,

I saw your post accidentally.. I'm looking for a job in Estate agency or Development Company also.

I'm fluent in Russian/Ukrainian and English with experience in Real Estate. I'm planning to move from London to TRNC after Christmas. Please let me know if you have something interesting for me.

Many thanks
