Anyone know if there is a shop that sells Wines and can do a chesse platter etc, wife and I just love going to our local Wine bar and enjoying a glass or 8 of our favourite South African Wines and at the same time enjoy a Cheese platter or a few Chicken Wings to boot. We also get a carry out for the fridge as well.........does a place like this exist in TRNC ?????

hi wearytravellersi think you might have to put together your own platter , the supermarkets do sell a variety of cheeses and wine , also i have seen chicken wings in the freezer compartments there . i have often wondered about the chicken wings , but now i know .

Hi

There is a sort of off licence type of shop next door to Supreme in Catalkoy where you may be able to get the wine. Not sure about the cheese though. Might need to head south to get that.

Bearing in mind that the chickens in TRNC are on the scrawny side I don't think there will be much meat on the wings!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know a man that breed chickens with four legs which doubled his profit. The only thing was he was unable to catch them.

The off licence next to Supreme Deal Market in Catalkoy, specialises in South African wines. As for cheese, Erdener and Supreme Deal Markets, stock an adequate range. Supermarkets in the South have a large variety though they arent cheap!
