Hye decanddyl

I will check with KAR tomorrow to see if any cats who match your description of Hamish have been reported as found. Fingers crossed x . if not then i will ask that he be added to the Lost register so that people (including their community Cat Team) keep an eye out for him.

Good luck - hopefully he has just been spooked by something and will return home once he has calmed down and wants his creature comforts that can only be found at home !!!

Can you give more precise details of where you live in Upper Lapta, as it's such a huge area. I'm in Upper Lapta and of course will keep an eye out for him., and I do hope he turns up soon.

2ofus

Could you please check for my lost cat at KAR, little fluffy grey female. Think she may have been poisoned near Sempati Hotel early Jan but never give up hope.

Decanddyl, please advise location - we are in Baspinar, we will keep a look out for Hamish.

Will check for you but can you provide bit more info - where she went missing from/what makes you think poison/was she wearing collar etc. You shouldn't give up hope - KAR do have happy endings to some reports and i know of a few this year where the dog/cat has been reunited with its owner(via KAR) after ages (one dog had been missing for 6 months or more). It is the happy stories that help to keep the staff going amidst all the criticism and sadness that they have to deal with on a daily basis.

Lost/Found cats and dogs can be reported to KAR (who will then include them on their register) by email kar@kyreniaanimalrescue.org or by calling the office on 0533 8694098

Hamish is back, he came back about 10 minutes ago looking a bit sorry for himself and with a few scratches on his nose. Think he could have been stuck inside somewhere. We would like to thank you all for you kind support and advice.

Glad to hear you got him back safe and sound. Some cats like to go off occasionally and usually return after a few days. It's an adventure for them. Perhaps he was chasing a lady friend?

Thanks everyone for your support and best wishes Hamish appears to be fine a bit quieter than normal, hiding in things and behind things so we think he's had a real scare no doubt he'll be back to normal soon.

Kindest Regards

Cathy and Ged
