| I was at Chelsea last night to watch the Champions League game against Olympiacos. When i arrived at my seat in North stand opposite the away fans, i spotted a massive flag drapped over the hordings of a map of Cyprus !! Following recent bad press about an Arsenal fan banned from displaying his TRNC flag due to complaints from greek cyp's, i decided that fairs, fairs and that this was also offensive and racially provoked - so i complained to the stewards, who reported it to the security firm..... With great delight it was removed at half time by the staff to which a ruck followed by the supporters, clearly agrieved ! " They don't like it up em !" so Capt Mainwearing used to say.... |
