Announcing that a new bar is opening soon in Kyrenia La mevida. Situated opposite the Haci Ali building near the Jasmine Court turning.



La mevida is also looking for an experienced bar keeper

Not 'La movida' then? which means 'the nightlife' in Spanish? What kind of bar will it be?

La mevida will be a bar/bistro open to everyone.



Serving alcoholic beverages and also a range of coffee and soft drinks.



Food will also be available the menu will be out shortly, and if you are just a little peckish things like sandwiches and cakes. Yummy...



In the evening they have plans for some good live music. Saxophonist, guitar playing etc



They are aiming to keep the prices low so that everyone can enjoy.



Most of all is to have a good atmosphere and be a sociable meeting place day and night.

La mevida is NOW open.



There is going to be live music on Friday night 19/06/09. Come down and take a look.



I will keep you all posted about the official opening night.

We will be open from mid afternoon until late everyday.



Once the food starts we will be opening earlier, so you can enjoy all the home made dishes.

Hi,

I met a Turkish guy looking for work today who speaks perfect English on the dolmuş & sent him to your bar, he is an experienced bar man who knows all about shaking cocktails etc I hope it worked out? let me know!

He seemed well presented and polite and was wearing a Turkcell t-shirt (?!)

The bar looks nice from the out-side, good luck and will try to come in one evening!

Try to come Friday night when the live music is on.
