Is anyone else experiencing this in this heat?! I walk a lot around town and can only manage a few errands a day, am constantly knackered although am sleeping well at night & trying to drink lots of water, can anyone recommend any good vitamin supplements for this?

Thanks

Natx

Try Polivit-C. 30 Tablets in a film strip for around 7 TL. We take them all through the winter and don't have colds then leave them off till the weather gets as hot as it is and take them till it cools down a bit.

Seems to work for us but don't forget lots of water and that afternoon snooze to help things along.

Wear a hat!

Although I didnt even walk around in the sun today, I too am extremely knackered, I am in fact counting down the minutes till I finish work as I could honestly just collapse right now and the only thing I can relate it to is the heat.. god knows what its going to be like in august!!!!

Nat,

What you need is a rub down with a green mail always does the trick,

I gym train every day and it helps to counteract the heat outside. Mind you,I wring out my shirt about 3 times !!!

Keep off alcohol,it's a killer in this heat,literally... Plenty of water and warm drinks too,tea better than coffee.

Hi

I'm a nutritionist. I don't really think theres a lot that can help when it's the heat that is the cause of the problem but some good things to help with energy levels are:

Glucose

Ginkgo Biloba (chinese herb gives loads and loads of energy, it cleans your blood, but be careful with alcohol because it can get your drunk quicker!!! All my 4 sons and their friends take it before they go out so they can have a cheaper night and not such a bad hangover in the morning!!! not really the correct way to take it.....

Vitamin B complex can help (also helps to deter mosquitos)

Ginseng is another one but be careful when giving to men as it can act as VIAGRA!!!!!

If I think of anything else I will let you know. Good luck.....keep awake! Black Coffee!!!

Regards
