Seems a good sign for Turkey - clearly the Uk is trying to be palsy-walsy. I shall invite the Queen to Sweetwater Bay Tatlisu, when I get there!

If the Duke did open his mouth, he would probably ask:

HOW WE GET ON WITH THOSE F****** W****** IN THE SOUTH

I think that sounds about right

I used to work with a guy who was in the forces many years ago. He said that when 'Phil the Greek' was in uniform visiting troops he'd often have a load of 'em all in a circle telling 'em very 'UN' PC stories and jokes. Apparantly he was an absolute scream and always had 'em all in stitches whenever he was around.

He seems to do as he pleases.

It was his mixed Greek/German ancestry that put the powers that be against

his marriage to Lizzie at first (but then all of them have German ancestry)

She was determined to have him though. Many years ago a cousin of mine - very handsome guy - was mistaken for him once when in naval officer's uniform. He wasn't flattered! Said he had more hair than Philip!

Oh boy that'll be an interesting visit. Lets hope he gets a touch of laryngitis, that way he's not likely to upset too many people.
