In view of the recent spate of burglaries in the Esentepe area, we have decided to fit an alarm system.

The system we are looking at, is a yale wireless system with 4 sensors. Does anyone know who could fit such a system or where we could buy one to fit ourselves? All replies will be very much appreciated.

As an alarm engineer i urge you not to waste your money on the yale system. Ataturk has a system which sounds like the type most engineers would fit, so contact him if it's convenient or google wireless alarms there's plenty of wholesalers supplying them for around £250 easy to install just basic programing required, also very usefull to have dialler. best of luck

Hi there Butlers wife,

You can buy them in the south at Home base. Very easy to fit not sure of the price but don't think they are that expensive.

Wireless Alarms....

Hmmm...

They are much cheaper to fit, but they are not as secure to a determined burglar.

Hi mmmmmm,

As we have no loft space and live in a bungalow, it is the only option unless we want to chisel all the plaster off the walls. The wireless systems I have heard about will be ok for us.

Any sort of "off the shelf" PIR racket maker should suffice.

Just deter and scare the Bast*rds, if another lot happen to come along.

Good 9v batteries last quite a while if the unit is not continually tripped.

If you are in the UK then B&Q have a good selection.

That is the way I am going, .........with "other" items.

Happy shopping.

The Pinnacle Security Monitored Wireless Security System helps protects your home through the use of a network that isn't restricted by physical wires or barriers. This offers a level of protection that can't be matched by traditional systems. Some burglars have learned to bypass wired systems and gain access to your home without tripping the alarm.

No problems with the system I have or have had in other places with cats running around. Don’t know exactly how they differentiate a cat from a tw*t but they don’t get set off by the cats.
