Hi all we are having one of our events again as they are becoming so popular

Friday the 26th June at 12.30pm At Guido,s **All Welcome**

We have made such lovely friends new and old, cant wait to see you all again

Please do your best to come along,

And again Dee no Ball gown or tiara (maybe that was Kev) not sure.

Please let me know who will be coming so that we can make arrangement regarding seating etc.

Hi Nat

Sometimes Guido does a 3 course set meal, but he will also cook anything you like, if you let him know in advance about Lobsters etc as he has to get them in, and as I;m a picky eater I sometimes just order what takes my fancy.

Liz I will add Nick and his party to the list,

but as I say the more the merrier so dont worry if you havent let me know just turn up

I just don't eat meat but I do eat fish, am a pescetarian, am starting to eat some meat again (so hard here!)but looking at the menu don't think this is a problem as there are a few seafood dishes I like the look of!

Hi Nat normally its a set menu with a couple of different choices. We have pasta marinara on tonight. We could always do something like this for you. Tonights special is Lobster. Just give me a call if you require lobster as we have to order them a couple of days in advance. Look forward to seeing you xx

ok Lilli that's great thanks for that, I love pasta marinara! Having looked at the menu I also quite fancy the pasta rigoletto it sounds amazing, so do many other dishes! Am sure there will be something on the set menu though that I like and can always come again for the lobster, ordering in advance...or see if my other half is not too tired after work to come tonight!

If all are welcome it would be nice to meet some others living in the area, we moved across last week to Karsiyaka and are just settling in to life in Cyprus.



We would be a party of 4 (that is if children are welcome too - 1 of 18 and one of 15)

My name was not on the list but I had to attend a meeting in Girne this morning planned at the last moment. I was free at 12.30 and what better thing to do than go along and enjoy the excellent buffet at Guidos. Then I had to leave rather early for another appointment in Nicosia, so I did not have the chance to chat with as many people as I would have liked to.



I think some who were supposed to come did not come, am I right?

hi dee, we missed you very much yesterday. i hope you are feeling better today. it was a good party and every body enjoyed the idea of the buffet. i made some coronation chicken, poached salmon,roasted beef, salads, pate, coleslaw, creme brulee' and some strudel. ( just to make jealous) lol.

The lunch and the company yesterday was excellent. Guido your salmon and your pate are to die for. And hubby was really impressed with the roast beef especially when you re-cooked it for him as he has a thing about pink meat always thinks a good vet could bring it alive!

Shiela and Liz lovely meeting you both, Smithy you look exactly as I thought you would. Nice to meet you as well Negnick, shame the Mongers couldn't make it, but your daughter is lovely!

Natasha, chessman, mersin 10, the lovely family from Karsiyaka, and to everybody that was there sorry if I have forgotten your name it was lovely to meet you all.

Finally thank you again Liz and Guido for a brilliant day, even if I did spill the wine!
