Hi All,

I am new on these boards and am going to NC next week. My Mum is registered disabled and is part of the blue badge scheme.

Do I need to do anything before I go?? Or will the blue badges be recognised??

Any info/advice about this would be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Jay

Even if there were a system in place I don't think anyone would take any notice of it. I've never seen any disabled parking spaces. You aren't supposed to park alongside any black/white painted kerbstones but that doesn't seem to stop anyone doing it.

So to answer your question Jaydoh then no I've never seen any evidence of blue badge scheme being recognised here.

Hello Jaydoh,

the Blue badge scheme is for European Union countries. See the stars around the top of the badge. My mum is 89 and registered disabled. Comes in handy when we take her to Ireland!
