We have a 3 bedroom apt and in one bedroom in particular anyone who stays with us and uses this room seems to come out in a rash and small bites.the rash tends to come out when they get home to the UK. We have stripped the bed on numerous occasions and hovered the mattress but to no avail. We have fly screens fitted and spray the room with Flutec Can anyone shed any light on our problem.

Sand Flies! Just buy a good spray and spray everywhere before you go to bed!

We had the same problem - Avon Skin so Soft sorted me out. Spraying room is also a good idea - we only did that once as the fumes didn't agree with me (maybe I am a relative of the sandfly?) Taking allergy relief tab every day stops itching and spots forming.

Try this, it,s brill at killing nits when all the chemical potions fail these days !!

It must be PURE concentrated tea tree oil, its a tiny bottle about £5.00 mix it with a mugful of white wine vinegar plus same quantity of very cheap vodka. (Or any spirit, cheaper than buying pure alcohol)

Pop into a sprayer spray the beds carpets and bedding. I usually cover with a plastic so they can't hop away it also keeps the toxic odour from diluting.

Don't forget to spray bottom of mattress too, also crevices on bed etc.

Good Luck

Hiya, try this

I used to hoover my mattresses at least once a month and spray them too before you put fresh sheets on

Also a plug in bug machine help as well
