Everybody is free to do what he/she wants to do - but effective action should be aimed at the UN and its member states. All the rest is Don Quichoterie indeed.

Someone asked how many are needed. It is not so much numbers as solidarity, and don;t forget the old saying of 'Forty thousand french men can't be wrong'. Well, they have have been, but 40,000 is a number to be reckoned with, so 'go for it'. I firmly believe that although numbers do not matter in one way it gives a louder message of the numbers who believe in justice. Turkish Cypriots have been too silent for too long. Shout now! No need to be aggressive, but you know that other saying 'a soft answer turns away wrath' - well mauybe a few thousand gentle TC voices which balance out the aggressive angry ones of the GC's - and win the battle. But it is like a Lottery, if you don't get a ticket, you can't win, and in this case, if you don't join, then you can't shout.



Come on - let's get that one thousand!

If facebook do give the option to put trnc as your country of residence then this could be the impetus for other companys and perhaps even google to give the same option.



Is this to much to ask ? If no one tried this sort of thing one thing then trnc would never get an inch closer to being recognised, No one is foolish enough to think it will have an effect on the eu or un but if one member of the un or eu sees that these big company's have given trnc status they may just may have second thoughts at some stage.
