Cypriot evening around Lapta---Alsencak,any one do?

Does any one with eating places do a Turkish Cypriot evening? meze, dancing and belly dancing, as went to one in Lapta a few years back in the summer and had a great time.

The kareoke seems to have taken over, and its what we want to get away from whilst in N.C. Any info gladly received lol

I know Acmenia (not sure about spelling) used to do one, they are in that area, near St.Tropez, up the mountain road.

Acmenya does one every Saturday as far as I know. If you are coming from Lapta turn right at Golden lady on main road and then first left.

I think the Cabin on the Lapta strip do one on a Tuesday?

We wandered into "Cenap" in Alsancak village a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, they whisked us to a table and just started bringing food then more food and it just kept coming.



After about 3 hours we finally waved the white flag simply could not face the puds I tell you I was as full as bulls bum.



Fantastic meal and the bill was about 75tl and that was with a bottle of plonk



Not sure if this happens every night or just Saturday's but very good.

Thanks turtle, Its just that we do like turkish/cyp dancing and the meze, yum yum, good company, and a bottle of plonk and to wash it all down, cant wait until we are out again.
