Good musician, but realisically, in the latter years who would ever want him looking after their dead goldfish? Thriller..... too much media coverage. Our troops are dying every day in Afganistan, and Iraq................ Do they get the same news coverage? NO. Apart from some music, and alleged kiddie fiddling, who is he? A Celeb. Who makes a Celeb... the public of course. No loss IMO.

It's his children I feel sorry for. Who will they relate to now that he is gone? They don't appear to have a mother and are surrounded by a variety of staff and agencies. Not a pleasant way to grow up.

Despite his faults and problems it's very sad that he's gone. ABC is one of my favourite songs ever. I wonder just how many rumours/stories/claims/allegations/revellations will come out in the next few days, weeks and months - lots of people queing up to cash in I would think!

I absolutely loved Michael Jackson. I thought he was amazing. As he grew up though he became sicker and sicker and by the end it was like he was a child trapped inside a mans body. It was like he had a childs mentality. He was a fantastic artist and will be a legend for many years yet as so he should be. I dont know if he ever did do what certain people said he did, but as far as i am concerned, as no actual evidence was found, therefore its innocent until proven guilty to me. No one will ever know the truth to that. God rest his soul I did not know about Farrah Fawcett until reading it on here. Her fight has finally come to an end too. May she now rest in peace.

No better way to mourn the late "King of Pop", Mr. Michael Jackson, than listening to some real "Kings of Music": Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Wagner etc.

Totally agree Trudy. He never knew what it was like to be a child. I dont think he ever recovered from all the allegations particulary about Jordan Chandler. He was a true Icon. I had the privilidge to meet him . A sad day yesterday for the show biz world. Talent Grace and Professional to the end.

So sad to hear about the death of Michael Jackson, I feel that I grew up with him from the 70's when he was with the Jackson 5, dancing to his big hits at discos in Bahrain where I lived as a teenager and then continuing to buy and play his albums no matter what press he received. A unique talented artist who I will miss. RIP Michael.

Its a shame that there are so many fools on here who can only post sick and nasty stuff. 99% of us did not know him but only what the papers told you. But of course thats all you beleive what if it was one of your family that was in the headlines who was accused of things he did but you knew dam well they didnt do it would you still feel the same i dont think so. Funny how more than 30 parents let there children stay at neverland for more than 3 years on and off with no problems. Then one pipes up and starts the lies . So if it was all true why affter the fact did the parents still let them stay there derrrrrrrrr prob because its all ball sh But the few sad few of you live for neg media coverage. One thing you will never take away from him and that he was the best gen people loved him resp him. his music will live on forever way pass any of us and he was a father to so dont forget that. So lot can carry on with all your sick jokes and coments that at the end of the day

Thats your opinion tattlad. You are entitled to have one. But i disagree. His money had nothing to do with it. There have been famous people charged with the same things that he was alleged to have done. The law is the law whether you are famous or not. He was a man who never grew up. He believed he was peter pan for goodness sake. I believe that he wasn't mentally capable of commiting such a crime. He loved children yes, but not in that way.

Its sad, really sad because of how good he was and the music he made. Whatever happened behind closed doors, we will never really know and I for one believe there is no smoke without fire and he certainly had the money and the people to save him being imprisoned for what he allegedly did. Any death is sad, and this is no different. Msg 43 and 46, tee hee hee :-0

Allen - message 40 - I agree with you and with all the other posters who have not slagged off, or belittled, a rare talent such as Michael Jackson. Shame on those who have..... We grew up with this genius, and his life and music is interwoven with ours. He has inspired and influenced many of the contemporary artists of today, and yesterday. I for one, am "all cryed out". Devasted by the loss of one of the music industry's iconic stars. R.I.P Michael - your music will live on forever. Message 45 - What did you "SEE"?

Msg 59. A few things that opened my eyes, and some of the conversations I had with his personal security people in hotel bars while he was upstairs playing with peoples kids, if you'd been in my shoes you wouldn't be saying shame on those that have slagged him off, the Media was not a million miles away from the truth during those trials.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves. He was a legend and will remain so. R.I.P |

Go get a life ilovekibris - will ANYBODY cry over you? He was a STAR of the highest calibre. With that territory comes all the flak that you, and other members on this board are happy to dish out. How sad you have no empathy. Juliachcc

Michael Jackson had a very successful life..he achieved something, and his memory will long live on! Most on here could fit their so called successful life story on a postage stamp!

Tattlad = Walter Mitty. There's only one thing worse than being guilty of something and that is accusing someone who is guilty of nothing. Boards like this unfortunatley, have replaced the 'local pub' as the platform for bullshi--ers and liars. Spreading lies and gossip for profit is one thing, doing it out of jealousy or, (just) for attention or, to 'wind someone up' is unforgivable (in my eyes) If you have nothing good to say - say nothing. Making jokes about a dead person - dispicable, the lowest of the low!

I have to say that whatever one thinks of his lifestyle, Michael Jackson was a musical genius whose music touched the lives of millions. A real shame that his life was cut short and with it the hope that he could have produced even more.

lLots of people have sxxt childhoods, but IMO he had the chances to change things, he had older brothers who should have helped him through if needed. He chose his own path when all said and done. Top performer but that is it.

Hi everyone, My first 'single' (vinyl!) was 'Say, Say, Say': MJ and P McCartney. And I remember in my early teens raiding my sis' record collection to listen to the 'Thriller' album, which pissed her of so much! Y'know, the man was a musical genius, bottom line. I am sad he is gone and I am equally sad how the leading to his end over the past decade was so controversial. Very sad, but I will remember him as the incredible Talent he was. Y

mimomar Msg 75 I can prove that I worked for the little pervert on neumerous occasions, and like Nige said it's common knowledge he bought his way out of a jail sentance by settling out of court to the tune of 90 million $ you don't pay that amount of money out if you are innocent and that's a fact, he was told by his lawyers he didn't have a leg to stand on so he'd best buy them off, for me it's a shame the Chandlers accepted the money, by doing that they were making themselves there son's pimps, they should have stuck to their guns and had the little pervert jailed. as for you and a few others on here you refuse to see any truth in the matter because by the sounds of it you and one or two more are besotted with Whacko.

messege 80 - it's a shame that he had to have people like you in his camp! I don't suppose you minded taking his "dirty" money. If you really are as venemous as you sound, you must operate by double standards. By the way - 90 million dollers - that would be a fortune to me - it was a drop in the ocean to MJ. As he stated, he had had enough of the lies and accusations. Finally, he was found INNOCENT of all 10 counts in the case he was tried for. A great artist - one tthat we will NEVER see in our lifetime again, has died = why carn't you show a little respect?

Well,Tattlad - So you were working for a 'little pervert' (your words not mine) and taking his money and then 'bragging' about it on a public forum - (Rolls eyes upwwards and yawns) and you look to 'Littlenige' as your source of accurate information! So, there is no substance, truth or, credibility (maybe, probably) about this, but what if I were to say that........ Chandler's parents saw a way to earn a cool $10 million ($10 dollars taken from BBC news - not the quoted $90 million) and it was paid because it was cheaper to pay than to suffer the $ losses of the bad publicity. I have no proof or, evidence of this and therefore, I shouldn't be saying it on a public open forum, just as you shouldn't be making the comments that you have made and trying to give credibility by saying you were a 'rigger' on his tour and talked to his 'personal security' 'in a bar' ??? None of this should be said on a public forum, especially as the man has just passed away - show some respect!

Msg 82 it was 87 million FACT I rounded it to 90 million, I stopped taking his dirty money when I realized what was going on, I don't need Nige to give me any information on the matter, you however need to do some homework on this before commenting on it, and people like you should be jailed for condoning little perverts like him. Rolls eyes shakes head yawns and looks to the heavens...................

Tattlad As a few other people said, most of us have not met Mr Jackson and we did not spend any time with him to know whether any of this is true or not. And naturally you can not expect us to believe every thing we read in the paper or hear from other people who claim they know. And I am not trying to say you are telling us lies, it may be true, it may not be true, after all you didnt actually see him doing what you said yourself. But I am just saying that no matter what you tell us, most people will not pay attention and that is simply because it is not right to do so unless you know for sure. And that, we can`t. The man has passed away and no matter what he did before, we should not disrespect a dead man.It is wrong. And he was indeed a legend, he has contributed so much in to the music industry, inspired so many of todays musicians, and im sure tomorrows new generation will be inspired by his music too. What he did as a person is none of our business especially now that hes gon

Msg 85, even the BBC have reported that he paid 80 million to the Chandlers, I know it was 87 million that's what I was told by the production manager, and he would know the in and outs, no pun intended, He was instructed by his lawyers to make an out of court settlement because he was a sitting duck in court, his lawyers also said they would have to make an offer more than a court would pay out in damages to stop him from being found guilty, as it would finish his career, and if Mimomar was to read earlier posts he would have seen that I stopped working for Whacko when I cottoned on to what was happening.

Look I`ve tried to explain it to you nicely but you are going over and over in circles telling us the same thing. So let me put it this way: We do not want to hear it. Okay? You said what you had to say. Now stop trying to convince people because you are simply not getting anywhere. He is dead, and I for one am not interested in what you are saying whether it is true or not. Because at the end of the day, it does not make a difference. I was not there to see it therefore I am not interested in hearing what you are saying. Can you please move on now.

Tattlad I know what you have been trying to do and all I said was, you have said what you had to say, we have all heard it so there is no need to start saying the same thing every time someone says something positive about him. After all everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we have heard yours so no need to repeat or be sarcastic.

Why do the threads always have to go this way lately! The most annoying thing in my opinion is when certain posters decide to 'quote' you and then criticise what you wrote, everyone is entitled to their opinion and how they feel about certain issues. dav88 there is just no getting through to some people! Lilli & cacebaby, I agree, you shouldn't speak badly of the dead. It is aways sad when someone passes away, especially at such a young age and when they leave behind 3 small children. Nobody knows the truth, yes he did like to be in the company of small children, but he could have been playing Nintendo with them though for all you know, a lot of speculation and accusations are invented by the lying people in the media trying to sell their papers with a controversial story or people wanting to cash in on rich celebrities. Either way lets just let the man rest in peace, it could have been a nice thread but....

Unfortunately they like to believe what they have read in the newspapers/magazines . There is obviously a few on this board that think they are so called experts on what MJ did or did not do in his life. Those people hopefully will never be called up for Jury service in the UK because it frightens me to think of the possible consequences. |
