mikec,

We are still waiting mikec. Why is it, having paid in full for my villa and moved in, April 2006 that Mr Cemal Bulutogullari is not in a position to transfer the Kocan into our names and complete the contract signed in 2005.

Mikek,

Do you work for Sercem (or New World) or has the mayor of Lefkosa asked you to post something positive about Sercem? I purchased a villa from Sercem (handed over and fully paid 2005) and found that Sercem had mortgaged the property in August 2007, two years after hand over and am still awaiting the title deeds. This would be classed as fraud in any other country.

Is it also true that Sercem stands for Ser-Serdar Dentkash (el presidente), Cem-Cemal Bulutogullari (mayor of Lefkosa)? If true, it beggars belief that such public figures as the President of the TRNC and Mayor of Lefkosa

could be associated with such a shower.

mikec,

Hope you had a good weekend - are you now in a position to explain your comments to us all.

I'm still waiting for my Advocate to send me that email, telling me my Kocan is ready for collection.

Rick

ps Sorry to all the other members who have no interest in this subject, I was hoping that by bringing it to the top of the postings a reply was more likely from mikec.

Only just seen this thread and thought I should mention that I was speaking to an older couple last week in a cafe when they said they had just been to their lawyers about their kocan and where informed that their development they are on was morgaged even though they had payed all their tax's 15months ago and had had ptp for 2years plus, they said there development was at a place called Sadrazamkoy and their lawyer had 25 clients of Sercem in the same position.

Contrary to message 10 with reference to the older couples statement about the Sercem developement at Sadrazamkoy being mortgaged, I do have my deeds in my name as do other expats on the developement.

The reason for my post is that my house is for sale and there is no mortgage against it.

There seems to be some difference of opinion between message 10 tony75 (older couple) and message 11 martin-wbh about wheather a mortage exists on the remaining villas at the development.

I wonder if Mr Cemal Bulutogulari or his representatives/Advocate could clear the situation up for these

older people and the remaining 25 clients of Sercem who may appear to be in the same position.

Just a thought!

All that I stated in my message was what I was told if their property was not mortgaged then they where very good actors, the only other thing they said was their lawyer said it was to do with some land which Sercem had bought at Belapais which had gone belly up, for the past twelve months they though they had the kocan and where just waiting for it to arrive.

Martin-wbh good luck with the sale of your property if as you say you have your kocan then the buyers must be queuing up if you are asking a reasonable price as kocans seem very rare on the ground at the moment.

Why not advertise it on this forum, for sale board as the amount of traffic which passes daily seems to be greater that most estate agents see in a year.

tony75,

Thank you for message 13, it was not a criticism in my message 12. I feel it is important to tell others of our good, bad and indifferent experiences so that those who are considering a change of lifestyle to other places ensure that the information given to them by Estate Agents, Developers, Builders and Advocates is accurate.

Like you I also wish martin-wbh every success in the sale of his property, he would appear to be one of the lucky ones at that location who already has his kocan and maybe not had the same experinces as others have had on this forum.
