Today I've seen a big black dog with a docked tail nearby Sempati Hotel in Lapta. It's a young black male with white paws and a white chest. He seemed abandoned and was running after my car. I gave him water but he was more interested in human contact.

If you dont find anyone and your not looking to keep him, maybe you should check out the Kyrenia animal rescue place, im sure they would look after him

There are so many loose dogs. Sometimes they have owners who let them run loose during the day. Otherwise it could be a street dog. If you don't want to adopt, then let it go.

This can be hard but the animal problem cannot be solved without government assistance. KAR have enough problems with funding and cannot be responsible for all strays.

Yeh, i understand your point Geejay, and its terrible when you see dogs on the street, so skinny you can see their ribcages. Atleast in the KAR they can get a bit of attention and food.

But you are right, they have enough problems, getting over crowded etc.

We went over to KAR today and walked some dogs, and along the trail we found a dead dog laying on the ground, his body was open and his insides had been eaten. It was horrible. The dogs rolled around next to it crying. It wasnt nice at all.

Government really should try and do something about all the strays!

A bit harsh in delivery but I must agree.
