dining club for single people

I have just retired to Northern Cyprus from the UK {Bournemouth}

Are there any dining clubs or such like for single people,I am divorced?

I arrange a get together about once a month and it started out around 8/10 now there are about 30 people turn up we go to Guido,s in Alsancak we started it just for women to get to know other people on their own, now its mixed so everyone is welcome, I will put the next date on the Forum for July so keep an eye out.

Also we are thinking (Lilli) and myself at just getting a singles get together, so watch this space.

Lilli is a good friend of mine and I want her to be at the events but she cant if she is working at Guido,s and as that is central for people to meet up and its agreed by all thats where we meet, if someone says to me can we meet elsewhere then why not I am open to offers, but no one has complained so far.

I do like the food there, and it looks by the large number that turn up at our get togethers that they do also, but I dont have shares in the Restaurant I pay like everyone else.

The reason I mentioned it as you say on Stars in your eyes post is that a few friends of mine were there but as I was up at 3am to take friends back to the Airport otherwise I would have love to come to the Event.

I dont have a bad bone in my body and try to be fair, i have lots of e mails asking when the next event will be and hope its at Guido,s so thats your answer

In Bournemouth the dining club I went to was where everybody paid for the meal themselves,

but men paid for the wine,ladies were asked to refrain from ordering champagne

We all pay for our own meal, when we have the get togethers otherwise it wouldnt be fair, usually Liz (Lilli) and I have a couple of wines before hand I will refrain from ordering Lobster

I was joking about the lobster, they do have it on their menu for the evening diners but as yet not had the chance of sampling it. But who knows maybe one day.

Guido,s is opposite the Golden Lady Statue Alsancak on the Lapta Road, not sure where you are based but it takes me about 15 min from Astro Supermarket.

What I meant about posting is when you post 50 or more answers/questions then you can click on the name in the blue panel and it will give you our details. So thats why I gave you my e mail address.

How old is your buzz book I have the one May-July and its on page 8

The Buzz book comes out every 3 months any Hotel will have them on the counter just pick one up they are free, I usually pick up a handful and give them to friends, but if you want Guido,s
