Nothing to do with the TRNC, but.....



i was asked in the boozer today, why are you called "Negative Nick" ? Can't you be more positive ??



Well, as some of you will know the nick name (excuse the pun) has nothing to do with being Negative.....





Many many years ago, Garry Monger and Garry Monger's missus got wed and bought their first house - a "doer upper" as they say...



Anyway, it needed rewiring and i offered my services, so complete with the "Collins complete book of DIY", i got down to the task in hand.......



Unfortunately i got the posive and the negative round the wrong way and the house set on fire....



The look on Garry Monger's missus's face was a picture....



I decided not to charge him for my services, in the circumstances.....



And the name "Negative Nick" was born.....
